It is a privilege to lead JS Academy in its mission to provide quality education to Deaf children. I firmly believe that Deaf individuals are intellectually capable and can excel when given the right support and tools.
Using Total Communication, especially Sign Language, we ensure that every student is understood, included, and empowered. Our curriculum includes subjects such as IT, visual arts, and storytelling, which engage students creatively and enhance their learning experience.
Over the years, I’ve also taken great pride in teaching and training Deaf adults and future sign language interpreters. JS Academy has provided a platform for professional growth and meaningful contribution to the Deaf community.
We have been also running the Afternoon Session to educate unschooled Deaf children. These students have surpassed expectations, achieving academic success and securing employment. We include them in all school activities, maintaining an inclusive environment with no discrimination.
Our teachers constantly strive to master modern tools and methods, incorporating hands-on and visual learning approaches. Their professional development has been remarkable, and I’m proud to lead such a dedicated and compassionate team.
